A.        Mechanised Infantry are heavy infantry equipped, trained and organised to operate both with tanks and on their own.

B.        The Artillery's primary purpose is to deliver it's shells to targets at long range.  It is quite vulnerable due to it's slow speed and relatively light armour, but it also has a machine gun for close combat.  The Artillery can camouflage itself, taking on the colour and texture of it's surroundings.

C.        The Royal Marines are the Royal Navy’s amphibious infantry and the United Kingdom’s commandos. They are a small but powerful Corps, operating in the air, on land and at sea.

They remain in a state of constant readiness, poised to take immediate action in any emergency.

D.        The basic Engineering tasks are:

- the construction and maintenance of accommodation occupied by the Force;

- the operation of large static electricity generating plants;

- the operation of water points;

- purification of water;

- the repair of equipment installed and operated by engineers;

- assisting the other units in the construction of buildings and shelters;

- mine-searching, mine-clearing and explosives

E.         The basic Infantry tasks are as follows:

- conduct attacks at night in rugged terrain;

- kill armour at close range;

- secure, construct, and breach obstacles;

- defend dismounted avenues of approach;

- conduct reconnaissance and surveillance;

- defeat enemy reconnaissance and etc.

F.         Intelligence Corps’s main responsibility is gathering information on armed forces capabilities, including order of battle, organization, training, tactics, doctrine, strategy, and other factors bearing on military strength and effectiveness.

G.        Military Police is responsible for:

- safety general;

- road safety;

- security;

- investigation of accidents and incidents;

- criminal matters;

- route control;

- liaison with local police.

H.        The Signals Corps is a Combat Support Arm, operating throughout the battle are. They work mainly for headquarters, providing and maintaining the command and control systems, which keep the Army’s lines of communication open; ensure the accurate collection and secure transmission of information; and operate Electronic Warfare (EW) intercept systems to monitor, disrupt or destroy enemy transmission. The communications systems vary from hand-held radios to satellites, providing both voice and data communications over short distances as well as round the world

I. Special Air Service The new recruit is now ready for intensive specialist instruction. He can operate to serve in any one of four tactically different troops

which make up each of the regular regiment's four active-service Sabre squadrons. These are equipped for high-altitude free-fall parachuting; amphibious operations from small boats, canoes or even submarines, in ways similar to the Royal Marine Special Boat Section (though the ultimate purpose is different); mountaineering, including rock-climbing, ice and snow work; and overland missions by custom-built Land-Rover. The last group, known as the Mobility Troop, traditionally functions in the desert and is trained to use sun compass,and astro-navigation. Many SAS soldiers, who would serve in Norway or Denmark in a European war, must also learn how to use cross-country skis and other techniques of winter warfare. One squadron regularly sends men for training in Northern Norway.

J.          Medical troops are responsible for all medical issues, including surgical treatment with a secondary role of giving clinical and nursing care, Casualty Evacuation (CASEVAC) plans, units’ medical situation and environmental health in the Command and etc.

K.        It would be impossible to commit the British Army without essential support, including vehicles, spares, equipment, weapons, ammunition, fuel, food and water.  The storage and distribution of these commodities is the role of the Royal Logistic Corps ensuring provision of the right quantity, of the right quality, to the right place and at the right time.
